Creating a business plan
Creating a business plan using a balanced scorecard
A balanced scorecard is one way to do a simple, shareable business plan.
The operations perspective measures the things you need to do well internally to achieve your strategic outcomes.
It should include goals for things like:
- quality management, like:
- animal birth and death rates
- fruit counts
- compliance requirements, like:
- creating and documenting specific policies and processes
- meeting health and safety requirements
- completing applications to the Māori Land Court
- applying for resource consent.
Your targets should be specific, with dates or benchmarks so that you can measure your success.
Examples of supporting resources
- HR policy
- Health and safety policy.
